Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free. (Jim Morrison)
Graphic novel that I am writing is kind of based on this idea. When Elijah gets a dream where he is whisked away to a place where he is invited to step over a line to meet his demons (that looked like dark stars in his dreams), and after meeting them, he would have no more fears.
Probably didn’t come off like that when you read it though. I have to keep working on the progression and scripting.
James Joyce, I read somewhere, is a writer whose work people read not for the story/message but for the medium. 40% of Ullyses I didn’t understand what the heck he was saying. Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Man was great, more readable.
